General Terms & Conditions of Sales of www.vj-type.com website.
It is specified beforehand that these conditions govern the sales, by SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY, of the works and other products present on the www.vj-type.com website. These conditions apply to the exclusion of any other conditions.
CLAUSE 1 – THE CLIENT
The Client declares to be a natural person, at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity of parental authorization to place an order on the Website. When recording the Client’s personal data in the “my account” section, the latter must ensure the accuracy and completeness of the provided information. In the event of an error in the wording of the recipient’s contact details, SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product. SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY reserves the right to cancel any order when the client’s IP address is located in a country other than the billing and/or delivery address.
The subscription to a contract governed by these general conditions with SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY implies the internet user’s acceptance of all the general terms and conditions, which he/she also acknowledges having read them full. This acceptance will consist in the internet user checking a box that corresponds to the following sentence: “I have read and accept the general conditions”. Checking the box will be considered to have the same value as a handwritten signature from the internet user. The internet user acknowledges the evidential value of the automatic registration systems of the website publisher and, unless he provides proof to the contrary, the internet user waives the right to contest them in the event of a dispute.
The acceptance of these general terms and conditions implies that internet users have the necessary legal capacity to do so, or otherwise have the authorization of a guardian or curator if they are incapable or of their legal representative if they are minors.
CLAUSE 2 – ORDER PROCESS
The order taking on the website is subject to compliance with the procedure set up by SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY in a succession of different steps that the Client must follow to validate his/her order. The Client will have the possibility, before definitively submitting his order, to check the details of the order and its total price, as well as correct any errors, before confirming the order to express his acceptance. Any order confirmed by the Client constitutes a contract of sale and an agreement to accept all the provisions of the present contract.
A confirmation email summarizing the order (products, price, quantity …) will be sent to the customer by SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY.
To this end, the Client formally agrees to the use of electronic mail for the confirmation of the content of his/her order by SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY.
CLAUSE 3 – PRICE
The prices of our products are indicated in Euro excluding 20% French VAT and participation in handling and shipping costs. These prices are communicated in Euro.
In case of an order towards a country other than Metropolitan France, you are the importer of the product(s). As a result, custom duties or other local taxes may be payable for any order shipped outside the European Union.
These taxes and fees are not the responsibility of SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY. They will be at your expense and are your sole responsibility both in terms of declarations and payments to the competent authorities and/or bodies in your country. We advise you to check with your local authorities about these aspects.
All orders regardless of their provenance are payable in Euro.
SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY reserves the right to modify its prices at any moment, however products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in effect on the day of the orders registration, subject to their availability.
CLAUSE 4 – VALIDATION
When you click on the “Validation of my order” button after the completion of the ordering process, you agree to accept the latter as well as all the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale fully and without reservation.
The data recorded by www.vj-type.com constitute proof of all transactions between SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY and its clients.
The data recorded through the Paypal payment system and/or the PayPlug payment system constitute proof of financial transactions.
CLAUSE 5 – AVAILABILITY
Our product offerings are only available within the limits of existing stocks.
When a product is no longer available, it is displayed SOLD OUT.
CLAUSE 6 – PAYMENT & SECURITY
The payment of your purchases is made through the secure payment service provided by PayPlug or Paypal. These two means of payment are subjected to a security system.
All payment details are the responsibility of the secured PayPlug and PayPal service.

CLAUSE 8 – RESPONSABILITY
The products offered are in compliance with current French legislation. It is your responsibility to check with local authorities about the possibilities of importing or of using the products or services you intend to purchase. The photographs and texts reproduced and used to illustrate the products displayed are not contractual.
Therefore, SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY cannot be held responsible in the event of an error in one of these photographs or texts. SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY cannot be held responsible for the non- performance of the concluded contract in the event of stockout or unavailability of the product, force majeure, disruption or total or partial strike, particularly of postal services and means of transportation and/or communications, floods, fire.
SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY shall not be held responsible for any indirect damages resulting from this agreement, operating loss, less of profit, damage or costs.
SAS VIOLAINE & JÉRÉMY disclaims any liability in the event that the content of these websites is in breach of the legal and regulatory provisions in force.
This contract is subjected to French law. The language of this contract is the French language. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have the sole jurisdiction.
CLAUSE 9 — Right of withdrawal and return of items
In accordance with the provisions of Article L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the customer has a right of withdrawal which he can exercise without needing to justify the reasons, within fourteen (14) days from the receipt of the items.
If this period expires on Saturday, Sunday, a non-working day or a holiday, it is extended until the next business day.
In this context, the customer has the option to return the items delivered within this period, in the original packaging, in perfect condition, complete and intact (with accessories, manual, warranty, etc.) along with a copy of the invoice.
It is up to the customer to keep any proof of this return, assuming that the items are returned by registered mail or by any other means providing a certain date. The expenses for return remains in any event at the expense of the customer. Refund of the billed amount for the returned items will be carried out by the Company by crediting the bank account of the customer, within ten days following the receipt of the returned items.
Items returned incomplete, damaged, degraded, deteriorated or soiled by the customer will not be refunded.
